Why Groups? Perhaps you are wondering why we value Life Groups at
Meadow Heights. Two fundamental reasons provide the basis for
our Life Groups:
- Every Christian needs a spiritual family: Everyone needs a
safe place to be known and know others. Believers are a part of
a spiritual family called the body of Christ, or the church.
Every member of this family needs care, nurture, challenge,
guidance and prayer, not to mention an environment to ask questions
and share struggles without the fear of judgment.
- Every Christian needs a laboratory for life: The phrase
"one another" is found over fifty times in the Bible. Scripture
challenges us to pray for one another, encourage one another,
forgive one another, and the most important of all - to love
one another. The Life Group cultivates an environment where
real people can experience real life together.
